We live in Somerset and are nearing completion on our own self-build project. We escaped for some sea air at the weekend and walked past the house on our way to Downhouse Farm tea shop. I stood and looked at all the build details for probably way too long - it’s really beautiful!
I notice from your website that you also designed the little wave chalet at Eype Mouth. This was the only other ‘stand out’ building to me and a lovely surprise that you also designed this.
When we’ve recovered from this current project and the renovation of a listed Chapel, which is next, I would love to contact you for our future projects.

'Having found a dated looking bungalow in a wonderful location we asked Nepheli for her advice on how to tackle it's transformation, in the hope that she could turn it into the house of our dreams. She was at pains to understand what we wanted from the house in terms of design and function and then produced some outline drawings that blew us away. The final designs were exceptional and the fly-through that followed enabled both of us to fully visualise her concept.
Nepheli saw our application through the whole planning process without a hitch and worked closely with the structural engineers, our timber-frame suppliers and the project manager to help ensure that the build process was smoothly and efficiently achieved.
The final result is - in our opinion - truly beautiful and we could not be happier with our new home. To us the astonishing fact is that the fly-through that was produced so early in the process exactly mirrors the end product. A true case of vision matching reality.'

'My house design is to replace a small 19th C house that stands in the centre of the village green, within the curtilage of a 2* listed parish church. The design has successfully reconciled maximising my plots full potential with adding a 21st interpretation of a low carbon village house constructed using materials harmonizing with those of the adjacent listed buildings. This has achieved a thermal rating of Grade A. Its energy is as close to that of the Passivhaus standard as such a small design permits.
It has been good to feel part of the design process and to view the development of the 3D digital models that have allowed me to see what Grand Designs describe as, the Wow factors, that can be produced in a self-build project. Theo Green Design maintained a refreshingly proactive negotiation with the District Council planning staff gaining the full support of my neighbours; the Parish Council that facilitated the granting of full planning consent without delay.
