Orchard House is a 1930s villa in the village of Burton Bradstock, spanning an old narrow street and wider modern road. The clients came to us to design an infill extension to provide much needed utility and bathroom space for the main house, and replace the existing conservatory with a showstopper garden room that would be more open to the garden and patio. The extensions have to be in-keeping with the existing house and the historic surroundings while providing the modern comforts of contemporary living. The result is fantastic, a beautiful and refined gathering space for the family.
